MockPulse is an Indian online exam platform serving students from Class 1 onwards, coaching institutes, and individual learners across India. 8. Minor Students & Parental Consent
MockPulse is designed to serve students of all age groups, including students from Class 1 onwards (approximately 6 years of age and above). We understand the importance of protecting the personal data of minors.
8.1 Students Below 18 Years
For students who are minors (below 18 years of age), registration and use of MockPulse must be done with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering a minor student, the parent/guardian confirms they have reviewed this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of the minor's data as described herein.
8.2 Institute-Enrolled Students
When a student is enrolled through a registered coaching institute or school, the institute administrator is responsible for obtaining necessary parental/guardian consent before adding a minor student to the platform.
8.3 Data Collected from Minor Students
- We collect only the minimum data necessary: name, class/grade, exam performance, and contact details provided by the parent/guardian or institute.
- Minor students' data is not used for advertising or profiling.
- Parents/guardians may request to view, correct, or delete their child's data by contacting us at info@mockpulse.in.
8.4 Compliance
We comply with the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 with respect to processing personal data of children, including not undertaking behavioural monitoring of children and not targeting advertising at children.
9. Institute Acceptable Content Policy
9.1 Acceptable Content Policy
Institutes, educators, and other authorized users who upload content to MockPulse must ensure that all uploaded content:
- Is original or properly licensed.
- Does not violate copyright or intellectual property laws.
- Does not include copied material from books, paid courses, or other platforms without permission.
9.2 Prohibited Content
Users are strictly prohibited from uploading:
- Copyrighted exam papers without authorization.
- Paid course materials or proprietary content.
- Content scraped or copied from third-party platforms.
9.3 Violation & Takedown Policy
MockPulse reserves the right to:
- Remove any content suspected of violating intellectual property rights.
- Suspend or terminate accounts involved in repeated violations.
If you believe your copyrighted material has been used without permission, please contact us with proof, and we will take appropriate action.
By uploading content, you confirm that you own the rights to use it and accept full legal responsibility for any violations.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide services, support legitimate business needs, and meet legal obligations. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymized.

MockPulse primarily stores and processes user data on servers located in India. Our platform is intended for use within India, and all data handling is subject to Indian law.
In the event any data is processed or stored outside India (for example, through third-party services such as email delivery or cloud analytics), we ensure such transfers are governed by contractual obligations that provide equivalent data protection standards as required under Indian law.

13. IT Act 2000 & DPDP Act 2023
13.1 Information Technology Act, 2000
MockPulse complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. We implement reasonable security practices to protect sensitive personal data including passwords, financial information, and academic performance records.
13.2 Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you as a Data Principal have the following rights with respect to your personal data processed by MockPulse as the Data Fiduciary:
